Press kit
A property tycoon game played on a real satellite map. Buy buildings at their actual locations, in a single live economy shared by every player on Earth.
Fact sheet
Description
Hooder turns the real world into a property market. The map is real satellite imagery, the buildings are at their real addresses, and every player trades inside one shared live economy — so a buying spree in one city moves prices for a player on the other side of the world.
On top of property sits a second market: in-game forex, where currencies and precious metals move with live rates. Players form firms, pool a treasury and back each other's positions. 247 countries and 151 currencies are in play.
It is built and maintained by one person — including the map infrastructure, which serves planet-scale tiles from its own servers rather than a commercial map API.
