Terms of Service

By using Klipy you agree to these terms. Please read them — especially the part about the content you upload.

What Klipy does

You upload a video; Klipy analyses it, finds the moments most likely to work as short video, and produces vertical clips with optional subtitles, colour grading and emoji. Processing happens on short-lived cloud containers. When you ask for a clip's post text, a language model running on Cloudflare Workers AI writes the title, description and tags from that clip's transcript text. Your video itself is never sent.

Your content, your responsibility

You keep all rights to the videos you upload and to the clips produced from them. In return you confirm, for every video you upload, that:

• you created it, or you have all the rights needed to upload and process it;
• it does not infringe anyone's copyright, trademark, privacy or publicity rights;
• where other identifiable people appear, you have their consent if the law requires it;
• it is not unlawful, and does not contain content that is sexual involving minors, that incites violence or hatred, or that you are otherwise not permitted to distribute.

You agree to indemnify and hold Klipy and its developer harmless against claims, damages and costs arising from content you upload or from your use of the service.

Copyright complaints

If you believe content processed through Klipy infringes your rights, write to dmca@nickdegs.com with enough detail to identify the work and the content. We review such notices, remove infringing content where appropriate, and terminate the access of anyone who repeatedly infringes.

Minutes, subscriptions and payment

Minutes are counted on the length of the video you submit, not on the length of the clips produced. The allowance renews (weekly or monthly) each period and unused minutes from the allowance do not carry over. Purchases are handled by Apple; prices are shown in your local currency before you buy. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the period ends; you can manage or cancel them in your Apple account settings. Refunds are handled by Apple under its own policy.

Fair use

Please do not try to break the service: no automated mass submission, no attempts to bypass quotas, no reverse engineering, no reselling the service as your own. We may suspend accounts that do these things or that upload unlawful content.

Availability and limits

Klipy is provided as it is. We work to keep it running but cannot promise it will always be available, that every clip will meet your expectations, or that processing will never fail. Where the law allows, our liability is limited to the amount you paid in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Deleting your data

You can delete your data from inside the app at any time; that removes your clips and your anonymous identifier. See the Privacy Policy for what is kept and for how long.

Changes

We may update these terms; the current version is always published here with its date. If a change is material, continuing to use Klipy after it is published means you accept it.

Governing law

These terms are governed by Turkish law. This does not remove consumer rights you have under the law of the country where you live.
